First road trip in the I5

This trip brings out several insights as they make an extensive cross-country drive navigating through Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho covering a distance of 2500+ miles on their first road trip in Ioniq 5.

Interesting observations from Reddit

• The average range of 200-250 miles, and most of the chargers were less than 150 miles apart

• The EPA estimates being 256, but the real-time range obtained on the trip was 270-310. Generally get 300 around town and average 3.5 miles per kWh, but I had times when I topped 4.2 miles per kWh.

• Charging was generally incredibly fast. 10-80% being under 18 minutes was the norm.  For the most part am happy with the charging speed

Overall, super happy with the road trip performance. Maybe other areas of the country will be less easy. Washington even had some level 2 chargers at rest stops. Super happy with it as a road trip vehicle.
