8 hours driving, 1.5 hours charging: A real EV road trip example with a Bolt.
Here is trip to the mountains in North Carolina from redditer u/jfaulc

I’m tired of the excuses people make to not go electric. I’m also tired of people insisting that the only good electric cars are Teslas. The Bolt is a fine car and so is the Model 3, i3, Leaf, etc. The only problem is when people that don’t know what they’re talking about pick one example to prove that EVs aren’t ready. I’d be stupid to buy a Leaf and need it for regular 500 mile road trips. I’d also be stupid to buy a LR Model 3 and only use it on my commute. You pick the car for your lifestyle. No one can tell you what does or does not work for YOU.
