Shenandoah National Park extends along the Blue Ridge Mountains in the U.S. state of Virginia. Just 75 miles from the bustle of Washington, D.C., It is bursting with cascading waterfalls, spectacular vistas, fields of wildflowers, and quiet wooded hollows. With over 200,000 acres, a haven for deer, songbirds, and black bears.
Charging
Charging stations are currently free for the public to use for an electric vehicle or plug-in hybrid.
- The Electric Vehicle Charging Station is located at Byrd Visitor Center (mile 51 on Skyline Drive) in the Big Meadows area. This is a very popular visitor center at the center of the 105-mile-long Skyline Drive. There are only two electric vehicle charging stations in the park. One at Skyland Lodge and one at Byrd Visitor Center.
